Today’s Tasks:

1. Watch the videos below and do the little quizzes. Keep in mind your animal in case they say something about it.
2. Find out what your animal eats. You can use this information to add details to your diorama, when you build it, showing your animal’s food.
3. Find out what your animal needs to survive. We know they need air and water, but do they need a special home?
4. Keep this information handy for tomorrow’s lesson.

Habitats Project:

This week we are going create a diorama of a habitat for an animal. We have broken the project down into daily tasks and will guide you each step of the way. Today’s tasks are:

1. Watch the habitat videos – there are a lot, but they are only about a minute each. Watch these videos closely. They could give you an idea of what animal to choose.

2. Choose an animal to create a diorama for.

3. Think about your animal’s habitat:

   1. Name of habitat

   2. Where is the habitat found on the earth?

   3. Is the habitat in a cold or warm region?

4. Keep this information handy as it will help you to plan what your diorama will look like.

Note on dioramas:

These can be made inside a box, but if you do not have one, you can use folded card or paper. You can even just use flat paper if that is all you have.
