Phonics
79.3% of children met the expected standard in phonics
We are particularly pleased to see our phonics scores return to being in line with the scores achieved nationally.
Key Stage 1
Reading - 68% of children meeting the expected standard
Maths - 63% of children meeting the expected standard
Writing - 51% of children meeting the expected standard
Reading is in line with national at the expected level. All areas show strong improvement on the 2022 data.
Multiplication Tables Check
37% of children scored 25 out of 25 in the MTC.
The average score for each child was 21.8
MTC is above national average, and reflects that recovery continues at pace
Key Stage 2

Maths - 51% of children meeting the expected standard
Our children have worked very hard to recover their lost learning. Our levels show that whilst reading and writing are closing in on returning to the nationally expected levels, the outcomes in maths were not strong enough.
