Easter RE Day
Wed 23 Mar 2016Easter RE Day at Peterhouse
Classes took part in different activities, today, to help us get a better understanding of Jesus' journey to the cross and his assertion into heaven.
Reception looked at the symbol of the cross and made some of their own, while Year 1 made hot cross buns and wrote prayers on them.Year 2 looked at different symbols of Easter, in particular the symbolism in the hot cross bun and the four days leading up to Easter. Year 3a made a prayer cross, while Year 3b - created an Easter story comic strip. Year 4a learned about forgiveness and love and 4b made posters of the hands of God and thinking of forgiveness. Year 5 looked at sacrifice (of Jesus on the cross) and of others who sacrifice things. Year 6 were detectives looking at whether Jesus'body was moved, stolen or something else! -
Radio Norfolk Visit
Tue 22 Mar 2016Andrew Turner from BBC Radio Norfolk visited the school this morning in an effort to get us the items we need to finish this stage of our farm. Mr Scott, Mr Bellinger and the School Council spoke with Andrew about the purposes of the farm, what bits we still need and which animals we were going to have. Violin Club shows parents what they are made of
Mon 21 Mar 2016Parents came along to see what the Violin Club had been up to. Pupils played games with their parents and siblings and showed off their fantastic violin skills. Esther was very pleased with their efforts. -

Gorleston Rangers Newest Team
Sun 22 Nov 2015Gorleston Rangers fielded their newest team today, at Emerald Park. The team, made up of 5 and 6 year olds from Peterhouse Primary Academy's Year 1 classes (and one from another school) was created especially for these talented youngsters.
In freezing conditions, the boys played their first (ever!) game. They faced and defeated a brave Hemsby Hornets side. All players found the conditions hard, but played their hearts out and above all, had a great time.
