    Easter RE Day at Peterhouse

Classes took part in different activities, today, to help us get a better understanding of Jesus' journey to the cross and his assertion into heaven.

Reception looked at the symbol of the cross and made some of their own, while Year 1 made hot cross buns and wrote prayers on them.
Year 2 looked at different symbols of Easter, in particular the symbolism in the hot cross bun and the four days leading up to Easter. Year 3a made a prayer cross, while Year 3b - created an Easter story comic strip. Year 4a learned about forgiveness and love and 4b made posters of the hands of God and thinking of forgiveness. Year 5 looked at sacrifice (of Jesus on the cross) and of others who sacrifice things. Year 6 were detectives looking at whether Jesus'body was moved, stolen or something else!

  • Gorleston Rangers Newest Team

    Sun 22 Nov 2015

Gorleston Rangers fielded their newest team today, at Emerald Park. The team, made up of 5 and 6 year olds from Peterhouse Primary Academy's Year 1 classes (and one from another school) was created especially for these talented youngsters.

In freezing conditions, the boys played their first (ever!) game. They faced and defeated a brave Hemsby Hornets side. All players found the conditions hard, but played their hearts out and above all, had a great time.
