• Y2a Easter Assembly

  Year 2a performed an assembly about Easter around the world. They spoke about an Easter Egg rolling competition in Scotland, egg painting in Poland and the Easter Bilby in Australia. Good job Y2a and thanks to parents and families for coming to watch, too!

  EGGceptional effort on the Easter bonnets today, peeps! They were EGGcellent! Everyone had a cracking good time. Well done to all who had a crack at making an Easter bonnet! What a bunch of good eggs you are! It was great to get outside and do some EGGercise! Somebunny had to win, though. Well done everybody!

  The children (and adults!) of Peterhouse were lucky enough to be entertained with M&M Productions' version of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' today! What a fab way to spend the morning!

  Red Nose Day was heaps of fun at Peterhouse! We all dressed in red for the day. We looked fabulous! If you look carefully at the photos, Mrs Bensly still made her class do a spelling test! They weren’t really as upset as they seem in the pic!

  Mr Freeman gave the staff a challenge this term! “Make your book corners as engaging and exciting as possible!” So, we did!

  

• Author Visit - Kes Gray

  Author Kes Gray did two amazing assemblies today! We found out loads about him and his life growing up, including that he was born with a moustache! He signed books after school and had a couple of photos, too! If you look closely, you might see the "Snakes sit on cakes" cake that we made him! He'll be back tomorrow for some Q&A sessions and for more book signings!

  

• The Big Bedtime Story - WBD17

  Wow! What an amazing event! Parents, children and their families came back to school in the afternoon, dressed in pjs and onesies, to listen to stories read by members of staff. It was amazing and the feedback from parents was incredible. Watch this space - we'll be doing it (or something similar) again!

  

• Our New Library!

  The day has finally come to open our brand new school library! The children all got the chance to visit and take a look at the amazing new books on offer. They can't wait to get them out on loan and get lost in super stories.

  

• World Book Day

  Everybody Reads! Today at 2.30pm we had our first ever Everybody Reads Session! A bell sounded and we all stopped what we were doing and read our books. Even the teachers and the office staff downed tools and got out their favourite books.
