  • Elf Day!

    Sat 20 Nov 2021

    📣 Parent Info - Decoration Day - 3.12.21📣

We’ve got good news and we’ve got bad news… The bad news is that we are again not able to invite parents in for Decoration Day activities. 😢

🎉The good news is that we’ve planned a fun day of Christmas preparations for your children and we’re raising money for a great cause at the same time! We are asking for donations for The Alzheimer’s Society.

Pupils can wear an elf hat or top, or go the whole hog and dress up as an elf!

Donations will be collected in class. Please only be as generous as you feel comfortable with.

During the week of Elf Day (Monday the 29th to Friday 3rd of December), children will be able to come to the front office to guess the name of the elf. The winner will be bring our gorgeous elf home on Friday! 50p a go!

On the day, all children need to ensure their clothes are suitable for going outdoors, as well as bringing a coat and sensible shoes. We do go outside at breaks and at lunch.

It is our plan at this stage for pupils in year 6 to still have PE so they can elf-up their PE kits or bring a pair of trainers to change into.

  • Football News

Sat 20 Nov 2021 Mr Duncan

⚽️ Football news from Mr Duncan ⚽️

Again, I am going to start with a massive WOW! Today's football was outstanding. We had Martham for the first game and narrowly lost 1-0. Then Peterhouse sprang into action with a 2-0 win over Hillside B, a 2-0 win over Ormesby and finally a 1-0 win over a very good Herman team.

Then it was nail biting time to see if we had qualified for the semi final and yes we had, as the best second placed team. Martham won our league by one point more than us.

We were facing Hillside A who had won their league. The game was close throughout the match and at the final whistle it was still 0-0. Extra time still saw no goals. Now it was the dreaded penalty shoot out and Peterhouse took an early 2-0 lead but, sadly for us, Hillside fought back and beat us 3-2.

Riley, Liam, Alfie W, Alfie S, Liam M, Keanen, Shay, Callum, Braydon and Ollie - well done to you all. You have done us proud. Special thanks to Trevor again for your support.

Just to add a footnote: Ollie, you have come so far in the last two years we are so proud of your determination. Keep it up.

And lastly thank you all for such a memorable two weeks of football both today and last week with the girls.
